You’ll agree with us when we say that Twist Speakers look cool but it’s hard to tell whether they’re worth the money or not.
That’s why we tested the iSound Twist speakers for months to get an accurate idea of how they perform in terms of music playback.
We played many different types of music under many different conditions with the iSound Twist bluetooth wireless speakers and here’s what we found.
The iSound Twist wireless speaker is definitely something we were excited to test because oftentimes, products that come with unique designs often lack in performance.
However, we’re pleased to say that this product is definitely an exception. With the iSound Twist speaker, you get both style and substance.
The unique design is not just for visual flair but also for functionality. The shape compresses sound before it leaves the speaker. This results in the sound being projected very effectively across whatever room the speaker is in.
It features a total output of 6 watts and the full-stereo sound makes for a listening experience that is out of this world.
It even has a built-in echo-free microphone that you can use to attend as well as make phone calls.
As mentioned briefly earlier, the full stereo sound with its 6 watts output makes this an extremely loud speaker for its size. The two 40mm drivers built into along with the passive radiator enables the iSound Twist speaker to emit bass tones that are extremely deep and rich.
Furthermore, its unique geometry enables the sound it produces to fill a room almost instantly once the audio starts playing.
The iSound Twist speakers feature a number of different ways to play audio from it, one of which is through the use of bluetooth streaming.
You can easily pair it with any bluetooth-enabled device and utilise it to play music of your choice.
The microphone is specially built to provide echo-free communication. This along with the speaker allows you to make and attend phone calls uninterrupted when you’re listening to music.
Gone are the days when you had to get up and unpair your phone with your speaker every time you received a call.
The rechargeable battery allows you to take this speaker with you wherever you go. The speaker lasts about 5 hours on a full charge.
The aux input allows you to play music through a 3.5mm cable.
In order to get an opinion of what other people’s opinions were like when it comes to the Twist speakers, we decided to check out some reviews online.
Like us, most of the reviews we came across were of people that were extremely satisfied with the Twist speakers. Many of them love how easy to use it is while others are impressed by how loud and clear it sounds.
This product by Altec Lansing is truly a sight to behold. The streamlined design of this product is to ensure that it can withstand all sorts of extreme weather conditions and still be able to play audio without breaking a sweat.
We’re pleased to say that it does what it’s supposed to do and more. We tested it in rain, snow as well as sunshine and found that it performed consistently under all those conditions.
Furthermore, its 16-hour battery life makes it a beast when compared to other speakers most of which can’t even break the 7-hour mark.
You can even usb-charging on this speaker to charge your phone.

The best sturdy bluetooth speakers are the Altec Lansing Life Jacket 2. It’s great elliptical shape makes it unobtrusive so you can use it as an outdoor speaker. The sound it outputs is both extremely loud and also incredibly clear.
This product may seem small but it packs a very big punch when it comes to sound and audio quality. The sound this wireless speaker outputs is loud and distinct.
It does a great job of separating the mids from the highs and you can clearly hear the bass in every song.
The wireless speaker is also great at playing audio over the course of a long period of time. We played this speaker for the entirety of its battery life from start-to-finish and found that it performed consistently throughout.
Battery life of 12 hours

Bluetooth wireless technology
Speakerphone for easy wireless calling
Bluetooth wireless range of 100 feet
The best portable bluetooth speakers are the Jam Double Chill Portable Bluetooth Speaker. It’s incredibly lightweight and also small in size which makes it very easy to carry around. You can put it in your bag and take it with you wherever you go.
If you’re going to be using your speakers outdoors, then it’s quite important for them to be waterproof. This is especially true if you’re going to be using it near a pool or on a camp trip.
Depending on what your use is going to look like, you can get a speaker that’s only a little resistant to water or a speaker that’s extremely resistant to water.
The ratings used to measure water-resistance are known as IP ratings and they range from IPX4 to IPX8.
Speakers come in many different shapes, sizes and levels in terms of sound quality and volume. This is why speakers come in varying battery lives as well.
In general, this is going to depend on how much you’re going to be using your speaker outside where you don’t have access to a charging station.
If you’re not going to be spending too much time outside, then a speaker with a battery life between 5 – 10 hours is fine.
If you’re going to be spending a lot of time outdoors, then try to get something in the 10 – 20 hour range.
Of course, more heavy-duty speakers are going to weigh more and be bigger but they also provide louder sound.
Thus, you’re going to look at what you need. If you need portability more than you need loud sound, then opting for a smaller, lightweight speaker would be the way to go.
However, if you want deeper bass, brighter highs and loud volume, then opting for something that’s heavier might be the right choice.
Of course, this is one of the most important factors when it comes to any product: the price. When it comes to speakers, you can get something fairly high-quality for yourself at a fairly low price.
That being said, you can often get something well worth the money if you can afford to go a bit higher.
For example, when you start going into the $100 price range, you start getting speakers with incredibly strong and long-lasting batteries as well as speakers that have voice-assistants integrated into them.
