We’ve recently looked at the Google Pixel 7, which offers great photo quality. The Pixel 7 Pro was introduced alongside it, and we’ve been examining both devices.

The device also includes the latest Android 13 operating system, a Tensor G2 chipset, and better camera performance.

    Pixel 7 Pro Review

    Design and Display

Just like the Pixel 7, the Pixel 7 Pro has an aluminum camera bump that makes it eye-catching. This phone also has a unique camera bar as well as the Google logo on it.

    Color

We have the darker color option, which easily collects fingerprints, so we had to wipe it constantly. Remember to keep a microfiber cloth nearby.

If you prefer to go without a case, we suggest selecting the lighter color option for either of these phones.

    Aluminum Sides

Unlike the Pixel 7’s matte aluminum sides, the Pro model boasts polished aluminum sides providing it with a superior quality and more refined look.

    Rear Panels

The rear side of the smartphone is made from Gorilla Glass Victus, as well as the front display. The volume control and power button are located on the right side, and the SIM card tray is found on the left side frame.

Our experts have reviewed the latest technology so you can buy it without worrying about the quality at all. Do check them out before you decide to buy something.

    USB-Type C Port

On the bottom is a USB-Type C port and the primary speaker and microphone. Additionally, like the regular version, the Pro edition is water and dustproof with an IP68 rating, which is a great extra feature.

    OLED Display

The Pixel 7 Pro features a 6.7-inch, ultra-high definition LTPO OLED display with 120 Hz refresh rate, boast of vivid and bright colors, and impresses with incredibly thin bezels.

    Comfort

The Pixel 7 is more manageable to use, however, the Pixel 7 Pro is bulkier. Because of this, it was tough to access apps on the far corners of the top part of the screen with one hand.

    Display

The Pixel 7 Pro’s curved-edge display gives it a more luxurious look and feel than the Pixel 7’s flat display.

Regardless of whether we were in Natural or Adaptive mode, we found the display to be a little dull. Simply gazing at it on a daily basis is fine, but when compared to other flagships, this is where you will notice the difference.

This could be the result of using a first-generation LTPO screen. However, the refresh rate was smooth and amazing, and the visual experience for watching media was satisfactory.

Credit to Google here they have now pushed at least 2-3 camera updates already and I've already noticed a real good improvement to an already impressive camera system #pixel7pro pic.twitter.com/Q5yARMyZOY

    Performance and Camera

    Processor

Even though the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro have different prices, both of them are equipped with the new Google Tensor G2 processor.

When utilizing the camera or when gaming, the device produces some heat that’s apparent near the camera module, but it doesn’t constitute as a heating problem.

    Chipset

The Tensor chipset lags behind the top Qualcomm flagship processor when it comes to performance, however, gamers should still be able to enjoy playing COD: Mobile on the maximum settings.

Don’t forget to check out the latest news about technology and more on our website.

    Super Intelligent Speech Detection

The Google Pixel 7 Pro has made several impressive improvements, like the Super Intelligent Speech Detection and the Photo Unblur software optimization, which enable you to unblur hazy images. We think it’s one of best phones on the market.

    Cameras

The cameras on the Pixel 7 Pro are truly spectacular. Compared to the dual rear camera setup from the Pixel 7, the Google Pixel 7 Pro has an upgraded triple camera setup.

    • 50MP primary camera
    • a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera offering a 126-degree field of view
    • a 48-megapixel telephoto lens with the capability of 5X optical zoom and an expansive 30X SuperRes Zoom.

The selfie camera has the same 10.8-megapixel lens as the traditional model.

    Verdict

So, to summarize, the Pixel 7 Pro has great software, battery life, gaming, and cameras; however, its hardware needs more power. Although we liked the haptics and design of the phone and it looks nice and modern, its performance is quite similar to that of the Pixel 6.

Now that we’ve fully explained it to you, what do you think about the Pixel 7 Pro? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section. Also, check out our review of the Pixel 7.
