It seems that there has been talking about adding a retractable lens to smartphones for quite some time now, but apparently out of nowhere comes the new Phantom X2 Pro from Chinese manufacturer Tecno, which features just such a lens.

Phantom Mobile is a sub-branch of Tecno, which has offices in more than 70 countries worldwide. It includes offices in Africa, the Middle East and India, Latin America, Eastern Europe, and North America.

We don’t know if their products are available in North America.

There have been high-severity security vulnerabilities disclosed in different endpoint protection and anti-virus software that could be used to compromise these programs and gain access to sensitive data. Check out more about how EDR and Antivirus can be weaponized against users.
