Over 100 additional games from Sony Interactive Entertainment Worldwide studios are expected to be released later this year.

PlayStation VR Games

There are six games included with the PlayStation VR system. They’re called:

Farpoint

An action game where you play as an astronaut who has been stranded on a spaceship. You must complete various tasks while fighting off enemy attacks. The game is set in the year 2042, and it’s up to you to save mankind from extinction.

The Good:

  • It’s fun! I’ve never played an FPS before, but this one was easy to pick up and play.
  • There are lots of weapons to choose from. And they all have different effects.
  • The graphics are pretty good for a free-to-play game.
  • The story is interesting.
  • You get to play as a space marine.

The Bad:

  • The controls could be better.
  • Some parts of the game are repetitive.

Resident Evil 7 biohazard

You play Ethan Winters as he tries to survive his predicament within Raccoon City. You are a survivor of the T-Virus outbreak in Raccoon City and you must escape from the city with your wife Mia, who is infected by the virus.

The game begins when the player wakes up on the streets of Raccoon City after being rescued from the underground bunker where they were trapped for months. As soon as you wake up, you find yourself surrounded by zombies that have escaped from the nearby military base. Your only way out is through the sewers.

Astro Bot Rescue Mission

A player pilots a robot called Astro through a series of puzzle and challenge missions. The game was released for the Game Boy Advance in 2004, and later ported to Microsoft Windows as Astro Bot: Rescue Mission on October 23, 2011. It is also available on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, iOS, Android, macOS, Linux, Wii U, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and Steam.

The game’s story takes place after the events of Astro Boy: Omega Factor. In it, Astro and his friends have become superheroes, but their adventures are cut short when they discover that Dr. Eggman is planning to take over Earth.

Until Dawn: Rush of Blood

An interactive movie based on a popular film series. Players explore a creepy house looking for clues about what has befallen them. The game is an adaptation of the first two films in the “The Ring” trilogy, and features new characters and locations from the third film.

Super Hypercube

A block-based action puzzler where players use their fingers to move blocks into place to complete increasingly difficult puzzles. The game is played in a 3D environment, with the player controlling one of four characters: a cube, a sphere, an octahedron and a dodecahedron. Each character has its own special abilities that can be used to solve puzzles. The game was released on iOS devices in December 2011.

Demo Discs

There are three demos included with the PSVR headset. Each demo features a game that shows off a different aspect of the PSVR experience, including VR games, social apps, and even movies.

Price

The price of the PlayStation VR bundle is around $399.99 USD.
