The Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl trailer has been released, giving us a glimpse of the characters and plot of this much-anticipated installment in the Stalker series.
The trailer titled Come to Me, popped up on developer GSC Game World’s Youtube channel today. This article will, understandably, include spoilers from the original games and the trailer.
The trailer begins with a sequence that likely happens during the event that created The Zone, introducing the Monolith faction ruled by mental control.
Scene descriptions show players traveling in the Zone, throwing bolts into anomalies, and using detectors accompanied by character commentary.

The play ends with a passionate monologue by a visually impaired religious zealot.
As the narrator states, “God cannot be killed as easily as you can get rid of the sky above”.

By conducting dangerous experiments on the planet’s life, the Chornobyl Second Exclusion Zone was created and this is where the first games took place.

GSC Game World, a developer located in Ukraine, has moved some operations to Prague in Czechia due to the recent aggression of Russia.
