Prepare yourself for the next battle…announcement!
It was announced today that Tekken 8 will be appearing at The Game Awards next month.
The official Tekken Twitter page posted a tweet saying “Get Ready.” Along with a short video showing off some gameplay footage from the upcoming game.
No further info was given, and no additional hints have been released since then either.
Tekken 8 – Revealed
Tekken 8 was revealed during EVO 2022 in August when a second-minute trailer showcased the game’s main character Kazuya Mishima (who has been absent from the series since Tekken 7) and his famous catchphrase “Get Ready For The Next Battle!”
During the PlayStation State of Play event in September, Tekken 7 was officially announced for the first time. The gameplay showcased new characters, including Kazuya and his sons Jin and Heihachi, who were fighting against each other during a heavy storm. No further details about the game have been released since then.
Tekken 8 is the latest entry in the storied fighting game franchise and the first since June 2017. It will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
