Quick Summary of the Main Product

Music professionals usually have large audio systems for playing music. RCF’s Studio Monitor is a relatively simpler and compact system for music professionals. With dimensions of nearly 8x6x9 inches and a weight of 10 pounds, it delivers excellent performance.  You can use them for your pc or simply anywhere if you’ve got a taste for quality audio.

The thing we liked the most about the speaker is the quality components it has. The audio system consists of a 6.5-inch woofer with composite fiberglass fitted in the lower-middle part, a 1-inch tweeter having a soft-dome design with 1-inch cooled ferrofluid right above the woofer with a cone-shaped opening. The manufacturing materials nail the quality mark to pass in the hi-fi range.

Talking about sound quality, the quality audio component allows it to deliver sharp sound. Almost at all volumes, the speakers give a consistent and clear sound. The frequency response ranges from 50 Hz to 20 kHz which encompasses all necessary frequencies. Volume-wise, it can reach a max SPL of 109 dB. The value simply says that you don’t need to worry about the loudness. Also, you can vary high and low frequencies by 2 and 3 dB.

Professionally, the speaker is quite handy to use. It can cover areas falling in 110-degree horizontal front and 70 degrees vertical. You can expect two of these speakers to cover a medium room. Input pots include an XLR, a jack, and an RCA. Also, they’re quite easy to break up, pack, and carry which really helps if you’ve to perform at different places.

They are great speakers for most of the part. The only thing one can frown upon is that they can be insufficient for a large room. Also, the price is higher than that of average PA speakers.

Guide to Buy

      • While buying a PA speaker for home or work, there a few things that you should always keep in mind. Otherwise, you may end up buying something that you’ll regret putting your hand on. Here, we have detailed all the facts and tricks you’ll need to get the best deal for yourself.

        Why PA Speakers?

PA speakers are generally used by professionals like DJs, music producers, or performers. They are also used in public places, large auditoriums, halls, and churches to give optimum audio results. They are best known for their rich harmonics, quality components, loud volume, and great sound quality.

Generally, a PA speaker consists of two or three components: a woofer/subwoofer, a tweeter, and a mid-range speaker in some cases. The woofer is responsible to handle lower frequencies of the audio line ranging up to 6 kHz. The tweeter handles the higher end of the frequencies. Some speakers also have a mid-range speaker that plays the ‘in-between’ frequencies.

        Qualities to Look for

        Volume

The volume needed depends upon the place where you’re going to use the speaker. If you’re buying speakers for home use, a 6-inch woofer sized speaker will do for you. But if you’re finding a speaker for large rooms, you should look for larger volumes.

        Bass & Treble

The other thing is the bass and treble in the voice of the speaker. Check the quality of the woofer, tweeter, and the magnets used in them. Also, check buyers’ reviews to make your opinion about them.

        Clarity

The worst thing a speaker could have is distortion. Make sure the speakers you buy doesn’t have any kind of distortion at all volumes. You can go through buyers’ reviews to find out if any of the users experienced distortion in the audio of the speaker.

        Features to Look for

        Durability

Materials of the speaker matter a lot. Check out the composition of different components of the speaker. Also, check if anyone has reported technical faults before.

        Mounting system

Most of the PA speakers are used by mounting on poles. Firstly, check if the speaker comes with the necessary mounting accessories. Find out how it works when put on the floor. Also, check buyers’ rating for set up difficulty.

        Others

Look for the controls, Input, and outputs options you desire to have in the speaker. Also, don’t forget to check the cabinet and grille quality of the speaker.

After analyzing the RCF ARYA-FOUR-BLACK speaker in detail, our team has come to the conclusion that the speaker, in all dimensions, gives a great performance. It has clear and loud audio for the given size. Also, it is lightweight and compact which makes it easy to transport. The price is a bit high but more or less, it is worth your money.
