Pokemon GO

There will be several events throughout the year including the Mythic Blade Event (which takes place during the first week of January), the two-part Winter holiday event (which takes place from December 25th to January 1st), the Winter Wonderland Event (which takes place between Christmas Eve and New Year’s

Besides these events, there will be the usual smatterings of Spotlight Hours, Raids, and the big December Community Celebration, which is likely to include every Community Day from last month.

Let’s get started! First up is December’s first Spotlight Hour. Here are all the details you need to know, including whether the Shiny Pokémon Wooper can be found, plus the starting time and all of the bonus items.

Wooper Spotlight Hour Date, Start Time, and Bonuses

The Wooper Spotlight hour starts next week, on Tuesday, December 6, 2020.

As usual, the event will begin at 6 p.m. local and will last one hour, ending at 7 p.m.

The main attraction at the event will be the large number of Woopers spawned on the maps for players to capture.

Besides this, players will also get 2x Stardust for each Pokémon they catch. It’s worthwhile to pop a star piece to triple that again for 4 times the Stardust!

Can Wooper Be Shiny During the Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour?

Yes! The good news for players is that Woopsie can be Shiny during the first Pokémon GO Spotlight Hour of December!

The Water Fish Pokemon has been available since December 20, 2018, when it was released as part of the Wooper Watch event. It has remained unchanged since then.

However, because Wooper’s Shiny Odds won’t be increased during the event, it has a roughly one in five hundred chance of being shiny.

If you want to get one, you need to activate incense and click every Wooper you see throughout the game.

What Are You Looking Out For?

If you see a shiny wooper in Pokemon Go, don’t worry; they’re not hard to spot.

Instead of its usual blue color, Shiny Wooper has turned pink and looks just like an Axolotls.

Do tell us in the comments what you think about this new addition to Pokemon GO. Check out more news on our website.
