Xiaomi, a Chinese manufacturing powerhouse, is developing its newest tablet, the Xiaomi Pad 6.

Currently, there are a few reports related to this new tablet lineup.

Popular Weibo tech blogger @DCS reports that the Xiaomi Pad 6 series is already registered with multiple databases.

Xiaomi Pad 6 Standard Model – Pipa

He states that the standard model’s codename is “pipa” and it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor.

Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro Version – Liquin

The Pro version of the product is codenamed “liuqin” and it will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.

Xiaomi Pad 6 Leaked Specifications

The Xiaomi Pad 5 utilizes the Snapdragon 870 chipset, making its Pro version a notable upgrade from its predecessor.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is manufactured using TSMC’s 4nm process.

Qualcomm reports that the super-large core’s main frequency has been upped to 3.2GHz, and its performance is enhanced while power consumption is slightly improved.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1’s power consumption is down by roughly 30%.

The GPU power usage has decreased by up to 30%, resulting in a 15% reduction in overall power usage when compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.

The AnTuTu score of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is more than 1.1 million, significantly higher than the 800,000 points achieved by the older Snapdragon 870. The two chip’s performance gap is clear.

The iPad Pro now features a 120Hz AMOLED display with a resolution of 1880 x 2880, replacing its previous LCD screen.

The back of the device features two cameras: the main camera, a depth camera for Portraits, and a front-facing camera.

Currently, there is no specific information concerning the cameras on this device; however, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro will be equipped with a four-speaker system.

The Tablet PC reportedly available only in China offers stylus and keyboard compatibility, as well as NFC functionality.
