Instead of a motion-capture wearable, Project Chronos utilizes RGB depth cameras to replicate actions in a virtual environment and outputs the results via DisplayPort or HDMI to an external display. This groundbreaking technology is sure to set a new standard in the industry.

At CES 2023, Lenovo has introduced a concept device that is sure to impress with its impressive array of connectivity options. Project Chronos is compatible with HDMI, but lacks dedicated HDMI ports.

Instead, it features

  • three DisplayPort connections
  • an additional four Mini DisplayPort connections

providing users with a range of options for connecting to external displays.

In addition to its DisplayPort and Mini DisplayPort connections, Project Chronos has

  • two RJ45 ports
  • two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports
  • a DC jack for powering the device.

It also includes twin 6 W speakers and the ability to rotate its camera by 180 degrees for privacy when not in use.

Next-Gen Processor and High-Powered Components

At CES 2023, Lenovo has introduced a concept device that is sure to turn heads with its impressive specifications. Project Chronos relies on an Intel Core i7 processor from the new Raptor Lake architecture, a discrete GPU, up to 32 GB of RAM, and a 512 GB SSD.

Compact and Lightweight Design

In addition to its impressive specs, Project Chronos boasts a compact and lightweight design. It fits all of its components within a 284 x 275 x 60.6 mm chassis that weighs just 3.54 kg, thanks to its metal construction.
