Pavlov VR – Zombie Basic Guide

This guide will teach you the basic rules of zombies so that you won’t accidentally kill yourself and reach level 20 or beyond.

What Is The Zombies Gamemode?

Before playing Zombies, Recruit, you must first understand what it is and where it came from.

An important new feature has been added, expanding upon the existing features and adding two new maps, Container Yard and Siberia (Jails), and The Killhouse, the first game mode where movement, accuracy, and skill are tested among all the participants in Pavlovic, and Zombies, the game mode where the player must truly cooperate in order to succeed.

  • Killhouse
  • Siberian Jail
  • Container Yard

What Are the Zombies?

These things right here, these zombies, are called the most common and only enemies in the Zombie game mode. They are very fast, dangerous, and kind of smart.

Most of them run around in large groups and try to overpower you, but some of those choose to act as distractions, sidestepping in order to avoid being hit by your gunfire.

Aside from all that, they’re just regular enemies in the zombie game mode and can easily be killed with one shot to the brain or a couple of shots to the body.

Basic Knowledge

Friendly fire is a real phenomenon! Don’t kill your teammate, and don’t kill them when they’re chasing zombies, instead, get out of their way so that you can safely take shots at them.

Don’t be afraid to split up into smaller groups. Being too close can cause accidental friendly fire or overpowering.

Sharing is caring if they’re in need of painkillers, or guns, don’t let them die as zombies, even if their teammates are bad, everyone is needed for survival. Just use them as bait.

Don’t touch the revolver unless you’re absolutely certain that you know how to handle it properly. If you aren’t, just leave it alone.

Aim for the brain, because it’s the most important part of the body. Everyone knows that a shot to a person’s brain will kill them quickly.

Shoving Zombies

Using either your fists or your weapons, you’re able to hit zombies to knock them away, which may help you survive in certain situations.

You can take full control of any situation by using this ability. For example, if you’re trying to save someone from an incoming attack, you could push them away instead of shooting at them.

Painkillers and Syringe

Here are two items that are commonly referred to as syringes and painkillers. What do they do?

Painkillers – Holding the trigger will bring up the bottle, tilt it so that the pills fall out, and aim at the head, this will cure you. You don’t need to use all of them, as some will cure you, so use some, see your condition, then use more if needed. If your condition is dangerously low, use the entire bottle.

Syringe – The item everyone seems to be confused about, this item can revive a dead teammate by holding down the button while the syringe is inserted into their body.

You now understand how to use the equipment; well, congratulations, you’re working your way toward becoming a pro zombie slayer. But don’t be too excited, this is just the beginning.

Waves and Zombies Left

When opening up the leaderboards, you will see blue teams and red teams. Red teams represent the number of zombies remaining, and blue teams represent your fellow teammates and the current wave you’re on. There isn’t much else to add here.

Tactics

Main Area

You need at least one person guarding the main entrance, but if you have two people guarding the main entrance and another four guarding the other holes, then you might be able to defend against any zombie attack.

Pros

  • Great defense.
  • Easy to defend, especially the flank.
  • Lots of space.

Cons

  • If done incorrectly, the strategy could backfire and cause a lot of trouble for everyone involved.
  • If the flank defense goes down, it will be a bit harder to survive.

Main Area #2

On the opposite side of the building, there is an exit door that zombies cannot enter through, having four players on that side can result in a barricade of gunfire that prevents most of the zombies from entering.

Pros

  • Easy to defend
  • Lots of bullets = Zombies go down easily.
  • Only one entrance (May get cornered).

Cons

  • If done wrong, the plan may fail and cause a hard time for everyone.
  • Accidental friendly fire is possible.
  • May get cornered.

Syringe Revival

If you’re the last person standing, don’t stop when they start chasing you. Instead, run around to block their path so they stay in a straight row, then quickly shoot them with the syringe. Practice makes perfect! Don’t hold down the trigger for too long.

Painkillers

While you’re doing the activity, you can just take the pills. It doesn’t require as much practice as the syringe.

Run And Gun

You need to practice aiming behind yourself without looking and firing blindly. It’s good for killing enemies without damaging yourself.

Bugs Bugs Bugs!

Main Area #2 contains two bedrooms, one on each side, a hospital room, a central room with a desk and a chair, and a locker. To the left of the main area is a small gap, climb onto the desk and jump into the gap. From there, jump down to the floor below.

M249 For Life

Once you reach the stage where you have heavy weapons, you can equip yourself with an M249 and use it with both hands. When you run out of ammunition for the first weapon, you can switch to using the second weapon. Reloading takes time but the firepower is immense.

Conclusion

The game has been updated since we played it, so some things are different. However, the basics remain the same.
