Are you wondering how to Play Trover Saves the Universe in VR?

Let’s find out.

How to Play Trover Saves the Universe in VR?

Trover Saves the Universe is a game that was released on Steam back in 2015.

You can just launch the game from steam.

Trover Saves the Universe

From the creator of Rick and Morty comes an adventure game where you play as Trover.

You’ve just been kidnapped by a crazy man named Glorkon who has stuffed your dogs inside his eyeballs and is using their lives’ energy to create an apocalypse.

You’re partnering with Trover, a small purple eye-hole monster, who isn’t a huge fan of working or being forced into situations where he has to be responsible for saving the world. He’s also not too fond of you, and neither am I!

You and Trover alone can save everything in this strange comic adventure, created by Justin Rolands.

  • An action/adventure game where you play as an amnesiac who wakes up in a strange world full of monsters and has to fight them off. You’ll need to use your wits and skills to survive.
  • You control Trover’s movements, but he doesn’t talk. He has a lot to tell you about what’s happening in the game.
  • Explore strange new worlds, meet fascinating aliens, and visit incredible destinations.
  • Upgrade Trover AND yourself with new abilities to hopefully beat Glorkon while avoiding awkward situations.
  • You’ll be immersed in weird stuff, regardless of which display device you choose. Switch between TV, monitors, or VR headsets whenever you want.

Gameplay

Instead of trying to be clever, Trover Saves The Universe is just plain brilliant because it immerses players into an amazing world.

The game plays out in real-time, responding to your background sitting “chairopian” headset and controller movements.

A second player, an alien called Trover, moves his hands in a three-dimensional space in front of the main character.

The two must interact together to accomplish tasks and goals. A clever combination of sitting players’ heights for visibility with Trover’s jumping and combat to traverse levels.

Interoperability between these two platforms is virtual gaming poetry.

Items

There are lots of things to collect, plenty of easter eggs, lots of puzzles to complete, and lots of fun things to do with NPCs and Trover!

It’s the kind of video game you would play again just for the sake of replaying them.

Criticism

If there are any complaints about Trover saving the world, the visuals aren’t impressive. However, they’re not noticeable because the game looks so beautifully designed.

It was our first time playing a VR experience where the actual gameplay design was built for VR.

Display

Trover Saves The Universe will try its best to offend anyone and everything. The profane language spouted and wantonly violent acts performed are ubiquitous and awesome.
