Star Wars VR Vs Star Trek VR

After playing both X Wing VR Mission and Star Trek: Bridge Crew, here’s what we think.

We’re big fans of Star Wars. And we know that some people might be put off by our enthusiasm. But we don’t care. We just want to share our passion.

We hate the prequels. But are not sure if we can say we love The Force Awakens. we think it was good, but we didn’t really care about any of the characters. And we hated how they killed off Luke Skywalker.

After recently playing Star Wars Battlefront Rogue One: X-Wing VR Mission, the most complicated game ever created, and Star Trek: Bridge Crew, we expected to enjoy the Star Wars experience more than the Star Trek experience.

Bridge Crew puts you on the deck of an alien starship, depending on the decisions made by other players (or artificial intelligence). X-Wing VR Mission gives you full control of your own ship and how you respond to the situation around you.

It wasn’t like we didn’t enjoy playing Star Trek Online; it was just that X-Wing VR Missions is a better MMO than STO. Here’s why.

Both demos lasted for approximately 15 minutes, but X-Wing VR Mission was noticeably shorter than Star Trek: Bridge Crew.

They’re both different types of games, but in terms of virtual reality (VR) experience, especially when the technology is relatively new, X Wing VR Mission is more of a game, and Bridge Simulator is more of a button-pushing simulator.

It’s not particularly exciting but it doesn’t require any prior knowledge of Star Trek either.

On the other hand, X-Wing VR Mission doesn’t require you to be familiar with Star Wars to enjoy it.

Both video game worlds embrace VR fantasy by having players’ avatars sit in the game worlds just like they’re doing in real life.

But Bridge Crew has its player on the deck of a Star Trek starship, depending on the decisions made by other people (or artificial intelligence), while X-Wing VR Mission puts you in full command of your own ship and lets you decide how you respond to the action around you in real-time.

Star Wars Battlefront: Rogue One

The last DLC takes you to a new location in the upcoming Star War: Rogue One.

Despite launching under heavy criticism for its lack of originality, Star Wars Battlefront has become a much fuller game since its launch.

Battlefront’s latest expansion pack launches tomorrow, adding four new multiplayer modes, two new heroes, and one new map.

The Rogue One: A Star Wars Story DLC takes place in the desert world of Scarif, which is located in the upcoming movie Rogue One.

You’ll get to see some of the new characters that appear in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, including Jyn Erso and Director Orson Kronic.

There are also new guns. The A180 is an assault rifle that can switch between sniper, rifle, or laser modes.

There is also the DTA-9, which uses ammo instead of an overheating system.

For the PS4 version of Star Wars Battlefront, in addition to the Rogue One: Scarif DLC you can play the free Rogue One: X-Wings VR MISSION for PSVR.

If you haven’t already downloaded Star Wars Battlefront for your PS4, you’ll need to download the entire 43GB main title as X-Wing VR Missions isn’t a stand-alone app.

We’ve got an exclusive first peek at Star Wars Battlefront 2’s Rogue One DLC pack ahead of its release later this month.

It includes three new single-player modes, one of which is inspired by the Death Star trench run scene from Rogue One.

The DLC also introduces several new characters, among them Saw Gerrera, who appeared in Rogue One; Captain Cassian Andor from Rogue One; and Chirrut Îmwe from Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Finally, there’s John Boyega, who plays Finn in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. He joins the fight alongside Baze Malbus, whom he previously worked with in Rogue One.

Sega has announced that it’s bringing its classic arcade racer Outrun 2 to Nintendo Switch.

This year, the game will include online multiplayer support, allowing players to compete against one another at once.

Conclusion

We believe that both games are great additions to the library of VR titles available for the PlayStation 4.

They’re fun and entertaining, and offer something different from what’s already available. If you own a PlayStation VR (PSVR), then we highly recommend buying them.
