Slime Rancher VR
VR Playground uses custom-made zones for each level of the game. These zones contain different types of resources and slime, depending on their location within the zone. Each zone has its own set of invisible boundaries.
The player has no health meter and, as such, cannot be harmed by slimes. The Plort Market isn’t available, so plorts can’t be used to harm Largo Slimes.
Large animals don’t eat plants, so they won’t cause Tarr to appear when you’re playing as Beatrix. You can’t use the jet pack, and the Vacpack holds 20 items without an upgraded water tank. Beatrix’s hands and vacuum are controlled directly by the Oculus Touch Controllers.

The main map of the game is called “The Lab”. It is located in a farmhouse very similar to The Lab. As a map, it has three teleporters to other parts of the game.

Slime Rancher II will be launching into early access/game preview with a huge world to explore, many new slimes to discover and combine, and an intro to the game’s storyline and the secret behind Rainbow Island.
It’s a significant graphical jump over the original, and all the content is now polished. It serves as a solid introduction to the new world of our product and a good starting place for the additional functionality we’re planning to add later.
Launch into Early Access means that at launch, the game will be incomplete. It won’t have all of the content, slimes, environments, and so on that will eventually be found in the final version.
We’ve made sure that Slime Rancher II will always be playable from start to finish, but if you’re someone who likes to play games all at once in their entirety, we recommend waiting until the full version comes out before starting. We’ll be waiting for you!
While launching into Early Access/ Game Preview means that some aspects of the game may be unfinished or buggy, we intend for Slime Rancher 2 to function as players would expect as much as we possibly can.
