PrayDog’s REFramwork allows players to use their Oculus Touch Controllers to play Resident Evil 7 VR on a PC.

This is an enormous improvement over the PS4 edition of the game, which was limited to using the DualShock 4 controllers. Follow the steps below to install the mod.

With Fluffy Manager

  1. Download the latest version of Fluffly Manager 5000 from fluffyquacks.com.
  2. Download the Oculus Touch Button Prompts for the RE7 VR file.
  3. Drag and drop the.rar file into the application will launch Fluffy Manager.
  4. To refresh the mod list, go back to the Mod Manager page and click “Refresh” next to the mod you want to enable.
  5. Launch RE7 in VR using Steam.

Standalone version without Fluffy Manager

  1. Download the Oculus Touch button prompts for RE7 VR standalone version from Optional Files.
  2. Extract the .pak file from the Rar archive and name it re_chunk_00.9.pak. Patch 009.pak.

Note: If you’re using any of my other RE7 mods (such as the ones listed below), you might want to rename the file to “re_chunk_000” instead of “re_chunk”. The last two numbers must be sequential with previously downloaded and installed mod packs.

  1. Move the .pak file to your RE7 game folder.
  2. Launch RE7 in VR using Steam.

The mod described above works with the latest Ray Traced game version. You can further adjust the in-game setting using the right controller by pointing it at the back of your left hand. A popup window will appear.

Tips For Playing With PSVR

Take A Break Every 30 Minutes

When you play Resident Evil 7 in VR, one of the most important things to remember is to take a short rest after every half an hour. Although gaming in immersive VR is fun, it’s best if you allow yourself time to step away from the game for a few minutes.

If you’re an avid gamer who experiences motion sickness when playing video games in VR, then it might be a good time to take some breaks from gaming.

Acquire The Shotgun Quickly

If you want to survive in Resident Evil 7, then acquiring the Shotgun is essential. It’s especially difficult to kill these monsters in VR, so it’s important to get the Shotgun as soon as possible.

You need to go through several steps before you can get the gun. First, you need to find the scorpion key in the processing area. Then, you need to go to Grandma’s room and unlock the doors there. Finally, you’ll find the gun inside one of the rooms.

Sneak Around The Map To Avoid Enemies

If you’re playing Resident Evil 7 VR, you may be surprised by some of the new challenges it presents. One of them is that you might not always be able to see where enemies are coming from. To avoid running into trouble, you need to sneak around them first.

Sneakiness is especially fun in virtual reality because it gives players an extra layer of immersion and suspense to the game. You can avoid most of the enemies in Resident Evil 7 completely if you sneak through them.

Play In The Presence Of Someone Else

If you want to experience Resident Evil 7 fully, playing it with someone else is one of the best ways to go about doing so. You can switch headsets between players at any time, and you can even share the controller with them.

If you’re going to play Resident Evil 7 VR, be sure to have someone else there who can help you out if you start feeling too afraid. You can still watch and hear the action even when they’re playing.

Keep The Lights Turned On While Playing

If you’re playing Resident Evil 7, you’ll want to keep your eyes closed most of the time because the game has some scary moments.

So, it’s a good idea to turn on the light switch before taking off the headphones. Especially if a sudden shock made you feel like pulling them off quickly.

Conclusion

If you’re looking for a new type of VR experience, then Resident Evil 7 Biohazard might just be what you’ve been searching for.
