Asobi’s abilities include:

AR Bots

AR Bots is an augmented reality game where players place 40 robots into their DualShock 4 controllers. Players can then see these robots from within the game using the touchpad. They can use the motion sensors and the button inputs to control them.

You can display the robot characters on the TV instead of the game console’s main menu by swiping up on the touchpad. When the robot characters are on the TV, they can be interacted with using the PS Camera’s depth capability.

The AR Bots mingagae was first included in Uncharted: Drake’s Forte and was later re-introduced in Uncharted: Golden Abyss

AR Hockey

Using two controllers, augmented reality (AR) hockey uses a virtual play field in front of the players, which is stretched by the motion sensor. To score, the first player must hit the puck into the opponent’s net using the paddle controller.

There are three modes available for Air Hockey: Standard, Hockey Battle, and Free Play. In Standard, players use regular hockey sticks; in Hockey Battle, they use helmets with sensors that track their movement; and in Free Play, players don’t need any equipment at all.

You can also use the Create Mode feature to create your own custom game.

AR Bowling

AR Bowling is a minigame based on bowling. It requires two controllers, and players must hit the pins with the controller’s analog stick to knock them over. If a pin falls, the player loses a point. There are three difficulty levels (Easy, Medium, and Hard) and five balls per level. The game ends after all the pins have been knocked over.

AR Golf

AR Golf is a minigame similar to golf. Players must swing the controller around in order to strike a virtual ball into holes on the virtual course. Points are awarded for each hole completed.

AR Soccer

AR Soccer is a soccer-based minigame. Players must kick the ball into the net using analog sticks. Points are awarded for every successful shot.

AR Tennis

AR Tennis is a tennis-based minigame that requires two controllers. Players use analog sticks to move the paddle back and forth to hit the ball. Each time the ball hits the opponent’s court, they lose a point. The game ends when either player reaches 15 points or when the other player misses the ball.

AR Volleyball

AR Volleyball is a volleyball-based minigame in which players must throw the ball at the opposing team’s net. Points are awarded for hitting the ball into the net.

AR Basketball

AR Basketball is a basketball-based minigame where players must shoot baskets from behind the baseline. Points are awarded for making shots.

Conclusion

As you can see, Sony has done an excellent job of integrating its new technology into several different games. While some may not find these features particularly useful, others will enjoy having access to such advanced technology.
