However, the real test for this product was whether they could blend their standalone design with something that’s simple and comfortable to wear. And I think they’ve done just that.

By switching to new pancake lenses, the company was able to reduce the thickness of the headset while still delivering a relatively high resolution of 1,800 x 1,920 pixels per eye.
Visuals
Though topping out with a 90Hz refresh rate, the Quest Pro’s visuals aren’t quite as fast as most of its high-end PC-based rivals.

It has a 106-degree horizontal field of view (FOV), which is pretty much as good as any of its competitor’s 110-degree FOVs.

The overall experience feels similar to HD Rumble on the Nintendo switch’s Joy-Cons, but with even greater fidelity for force feedback.

The Quest Pro’s color display is so clear that I can see through it to the real world. It’s also accurate enough to let me move around freely without having to take off the device.

While the Quest Pro doesn’t provide official battery time estimates, you’re looking at anywhere from 2.5 to 3.5 hours of battery life, depending on the use cases.
Protective Silicone Cover
Other included items include a protective silicon case and two magnetic blocks that attach to the sides of the headset, which help cut down on potential distractions by keeping them out of sight.
If you really want to get the full VR-diving effect, you’ll need to spend at least $50 on Meta’s Full Light Blockers. Alternatively, you could just go into a darkened environment.
Touch Pro Controllers
You also receive two Quest Touch Pro controllers, two wristbands, and two stylus nibs that you can attach to the bottom of the controllers to suit your specific requirements.
Wireless Charging Dock
It has a really nifty wireless charging station that works well for holding both the controller and headset. Getting the controllers to sit properly inside the docking station is a little trickier than expected.
But the secret is to hold them as if they were real guns, before twisting your wrists inward and then dropping them onto the docking station. If you did it correctly, you’ll feel a slight vibration and hear the tiny indicators light up.
Dedicated Cable
You can also use the USB port on the back of the controller to recharge the batteries. However, you’ll only be able to recharge them one at a time. If you’re leaving the dock behind, you’ll need to recharge each controller separately.
