After clicking on the blue button, a Steam setup file will be downloaded in your downloads. Run the downloaded file.

Step 5:

After the downloaded file will start it will first ask for permission to make changes to your device. Select the yes option and proceed forward.

Then an installation interface will pop up which will ask about where to store the downloaded file, allocate enough space for this process and move on.

Step 6:

After allocating space for the installation a downloading screen like this will show up. Depending on the speed of your internet it may take a few seconds or it could take several minutes.

Step 7:

After installation a login screen would show up, if you already have a Steam account then you can Log-in directly, but if not then you can first complete the Sign-up process.

Furthermore, a Log-in page will open up and after entering your details it will lead to authorization through your email after which you will be provided access to Steam VR.

After Log-in the following screen will pop up as shown below. This shows that you have successfully downloaded Steam VR.

How to Set Up Steam VR?

Once Steam VR has been installed into your device, you can start the setup process for your VR headset.

Now click the three-line menu icon which will give you access to three primary functions which are pairing of controllers, updating of firmware on your VR headset, and a special feature known as Room Steup.

After connecting your VR controllers and updating your firmware, select the Room Setup option and then follow the provided instructions to determine the play area that you have access to.
