What Is VRChat Controls Keyboard?

Keyboard shortcuts refer to the key combinations on the computer keyboard used to control certain motions of an avatar in VRChat. These keys allow you to operate your avatar smoothly and quickly.

What Are the Shortcuts for Playing VRChat?

You don’t need any special equipment to play VRChat. All you need is a computer, a keyboard, and a mouse. With the controls for controlling your character’s movement, you can enjoy your experience.

The keyboard shortcuts for controlling the VRChat avatar are based on the standard WASD keyboard layout, and the use of the left and right arrow keys to adjust the view position of the avatar. Also, the head (or eyes) of the avatar points to the general location where it is looking.

Here is a list of keyboard shortcuts for controlling various actions within the game. However, it is not possible to move the arm of a player in the current version of the game.

Standard PFS “WASD” Setup

  • B – The “B” key moves the player right.
  • Backspace (or Delete) – The “Backspace” key moves the character back one space.
  • The “D’ key takes the character right.

These four keys correspond to the four arrow keys on the numeric keypad (left side) of most keyboards. For a non-gaming computer, there are no arrows on these four keys.

On keyboards that are designed specifically for gaming, there are W, A, S, and D keys together with arrow keys on the four keys.

From the content above, we know that this method is only for redefining the “RShift + Backtick” shortcut keys. Anyway, you can try to check if it works for you or not.
