People often ask, how to connect the Evo VR controller to android.

Let’s find out!

How to Connect Evo VR Controller to Android?

Evo VR is a new type of virtual reality headset that has been developed by the company, HTC. It was released on April 18th, 2016 and it is compatible with both Google Cardboard as well as Samsung Gear VR.

The device comes in two different sizes: one for adults and another for children. This article will help you learn how to connect your EVO VR controller to an Android phone or tablet.

  1. The first step is to download the app from the Play Store. After downloading the app, open it up and log into your account if you haven’t already done so.
  2. Once logged in, tap on “Connect Devices” at the top right corner of the screen and then select “Add Device”.
  3. Select the model number of your EVO VR controller. You can find this information on the back side of the unit. In our case, we are using the EVO 4G.
  4. Tap on “Continue” and then choose “Android”.
  5. Now you need to enter the serial number of your EVO 4G. Scroll down until you see the Serial Number and tap on it.
  6. Enter the code displayed on your smartphone and then tap on OK.
  7. Your EVO VR controller should now be connected to your mobile device. If not, try again.

Note: Make sure that you have set up the correct Bluetooth settings on your phone before connecting the EVO VR controller.

If everything went smoothly, you should now be able to use your EVO VR controller with your Android phone or tablet.

How Does Evo VR Work?

EVO uses the concept of the stereoscope. A stereoscope consists of two mirrors placed at 45 degrees from the viewer’s eye.

Each mirror then shows one version of the same image, but each version has been focused on by a different camera angle.

If you look into one mirror at a time, it seems like you’re seeing two different images; however, when you look into both mirrors simultaneously, your mind combines them into a single image.

Of course, EVOs don’t use any kind of mirror, but they do use the same idea.

With the use of the new virtual reality headsets, you can experience the game from different angles by moving your body in the real world.

The eyes are the real power of the EVOLVE headset. Each eye has a separate display or “lens”, and even though it uses a smartphone to display the images, the lenses are distorted to create the 3D effect.

If you weren’t using a headset when you downloaded a VR game, you would just be seeing a split screen of the same game.

EVO also uses motion sensors inside the device to track your movements. It does this so that it can display images correctly.

These technologies combine to create the interactive 3D imagery that EVO wants its visitors to experience.

Now that you’ve learned how it works, you must learn how to use the device.

How to Use an Evo VR Headset?

You just need to download a VR game app like Google Cardboard or YouTube. There are plenty available so choose one.

You can download games from the library by browsing them until you find one that you like.

It doesn’t really make any difference whether you choose an EVO game or one of the other games, since EVO is just the platform for the VR game.

You’ll be able to access the settings and options from your smartphone once everything is set up. When you’re ready, just slide your smartphone into the front compartment of your EVO headset.

It will have a protective case for your phone so that it doesn’t get damaged when you’re using it. And it has a magnetic clip at the top of the headphones to hold your phone in place.

Make sure the device’s display is facing the inside of its case, otherwise you won’t see the game.

Once your phone is ready, you can place the earpiece into your ears. Adjust the strap so it fits comfortably around your neck.

Shake your device to ensure it remains secure during gameplay. If it becomes loose, adjust it again.

Now let’s take a closer look at the front panel. On the top of the head unit, we find three buttons.

These buttons allow us to adjust the volume level, change channels, and mute/unmute the microphone.

We also find four small holes on the bottom side of the head unit. These holes allow air to flow through the headphones.

After you’ve adjusted the distance between the camera lens and the screen, use the buttons on the side to change the zoom level.

If you want the clearest audio quality, then you need to adjust the volume according to where the phone is located.

Now that everything is ready, all you have to do is play the games you’ve selected.

How to Play Games on Evo VR?

Each video card is different, so you should read the manual for each one. However, the EVOCVR comes with a controller which fits almost every video card’s needs.

Like most 2D console games, the gamepad has a joystick, two shooting controls, and four action control pads (A, B, C, D).

You can play any kind of game you want, including shooting, racing, simple exploration, or more complex NPC investigations.

You’ll usually play with the controller and view through the VR goggles, but sometimes a VR experience might require you to look in a specific direction to achieve an objective.

Those kinds of games really use the mobility of your headset. As the EVO VR is an affordable headset, it may not be able to handle them very well.

Conclusion

Evo VR is a great way to get started with virtual reality. It’s cheap, easy to set up, and gives you a good taste of what it feels like to be immersed in a 3D world.

However, it isn’t perfect. The resolution is low, the field of view is narrow, and the controls aren’t always intuitive.
