Supernatural VR is all the hype these days since it provides you with a realistic dose of motivation that can boost your workability and strength.

If these features have grabbed your attention, you might be interested in knowing how much will it cost you.

How Much Is a Supernatural VR?

Supernatural is a fitness game for Oculus Rift headsets. It costs around $20 per month.

Supernatural VR Review

Supernatural VR lets you use music, landscape, and fitness coaches to exercise at home.

With so many fitness games available for Oculus Quest 2, Supernatural’s subscription service makes it quite different from other services.

So the big question is Supernatural VR worth the $20-a-month subscription?

Who Makes Supernatural VR?

Supernatural was created by Within Unlimited Inc., which has been making many VR movies and experiences.

You shouldn’t expect that to change at any point in time.

Supernatural VR is an exclusive fitness game for the Oculus Quest and the Oculus Quest 2.

Supernatural VR Gameplay Review

Supernatural is similar in some ways to other rhythm and fitness game titles, including Beat Saber. You stand stationary while objects move toward you. You use a bat to hit them.

When triangles come flying at you, you’ll have to duck and lunge, so you’re inside the shape.

Sometimes there are trails coming off the balloons, which you will have to ride following with your arms, similar to what you see in Synchro Rides.

What kind of game is supernatural VR?

Supernatural VR isn’t a dancing game. It’s designed to help you burn calories by moving your body in ways that increase your heart rate.

Think of doing a lot of fast up-and-down movements, squats, and lunging exercises. Beginners in fitness might have trouble with Supernatural.

Supernatural VR Classes and Songs

The music in Supernatural VR is music you’re familiar with.

The musical selection is truly endless, from Billie Eilish, The Weekn’diana ross, nirvana, lady gaga, and panic at the disco to Macklemore. It goes on and on. This is likely one of the reasons why the monthly costs from the subscriptions go so high.

Custom Playlists in Supernatural VR

Unfortunately, one major drawback of Supernatural is that there is no way to add your own personal music library to the app.

Choose one song

You’re not allowed to pick only one song and listen to it. That’s right! You have to choose an entire playlist and listen to each track. You cannot skip songs.

Restart the Song

If you need to start that song again during your workout, you can no longer just hit play. You’ll instead have to press Pausa (the Italian word for “paused”) before starting the track again. That way, you won’t miss any of the music.

The concept is that the entire exercise session is one experience that needs to be done together to keep your heart rates up.

The Trainers Are Not Real?

You won’t get any immediate feedback from the training program itself. However, the trainers will motivate you when necessary.

It’s not uncommon for people to struggle when they’re asked to say something encouraging. You may want to think of some specific things to encourage them to keep going.

There isn’t an option to mute the trainers. However, you can turn down their volume by pressing the button at the bottom right corner of the screen.

Supernatural Multiplayer Experience

In order to make multiplayer experiences possible, we had to create an entirely new game engine. We also needed to build our own version of Unity’s networking system so that players could connect to each other across platforms.

Our goal was to provide a seamless experience between PC, Mac, iOS, Android, Oculus Go, GearVR, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.

Profiles

With Supernatural, you can set up four different profiles for each player. Each player can then keep track of their own stats and see how they’re doing compared to others. However, there isn’t an option to view multiple players’ stats at once.

Can You Work Out with Supernatural?

Supernatural claims to be the premium VR exercise game for Oculus Quest 2. It focuses on your core and squats, among other exercises.

On average, there are more squatting movements per hour in Supernatural compared to other similar calorie-burners, but overall calories burned during gameplay are equal to Synth Rider, Audio Trip, Oh Shape, and Beat Saber.

Does the Supernatural Cause Motion Sickness?

Supernatural has no forced 360-degree turns, but it shouldn’t cause any motion sickness for most viewers.

Is Supernatural VR Worth It?

There are many, many fitness games available to play for free on the Oculus Quest 2.

When we take a look at whether Supernatural is worth it, we need to compare it to those other shows and see if it stands out from them.

Replacement For Gym Subscription

First of all, it’s not a good idea to compare Supernatural to a monthly fitness club membership. It’s a decent cardio exercise, but it doesn’t offer anything close to the benefits of a regular fitness club membership.

You don’t need to worry about paying for a gym when you’re at Supernatural VR review. There’s plenty of free weight training available there.

Does Supernatural give you a better workout than other VR fitness games?

We don’t think so.

There are several other fitness games out there that offer even more workouts than Zumba Fitness.

The visuals in Super Natural are by far the most impressive, but you won’t be seeing them for long. Other aspects of Supernatural are available through another VR fitness game, which costs $1 once.

The main thing Super Natural does is force you to exercise for 30 minutes straight without stopping. You cannot fail or skip songs as you can in other fitness apps.

How to Get a Workout Equal to Supernatural VR in Other VR Games?

If you want to get the most out of your workouts in other video game titles, set up a playlist of songs at an easy difficulty setting, play them for 30 minutes, then stop playing.

It will help you stay active for longer periods of time without having to pay for expensive gym memberships.

Conclusion

People who use Supernatural tend to say that its pretty locations, songs they’re familiar with, and daily new workout routines are probably a big reason why they use it.

If those three things are really important to you, then Supernatural VR might just be for you.
