Last week, Honor announced the launch of three new smartphones in its 80 series: the flagship Honor 80 Pro, the mid-range Honor 80 SE, and the entry-level Honor 80. These phones will soon be followed by two more devices.

Honor 80 GT and Honor 80 Pro

We’re talking about the Honor 80 GT and a variant of the Honor 80 Pro called the Honor 80 Pro. These two phones have supposedly been certified for sale in the Chinese market by Huawei, and they have the models HUAWEI_AGT-AN00 and HUAWEI_ANB-AN00.

Both handsets will be 5GHz-capable and could support 33W charging speeds.

Honor 80 Pro

The Honor 80 Pro is basically the Honor 8 Pro without any curved edges.

Camera

The Honor 80 Pro has

  • A triple rear-facing 160-megapixel sensor
  • An 18–50 mm lens
  • A 2-megapixel camera.

It has a square-shaped cutout for its front camera and an 8-megapixel rear camera.

Honor 80 GT

Chipset

On the other hand, the Honor 80 GT uses the same slightly underclocking iteration of the Snapdragon 835 Gen 2 chipset as the Pro.

Screen Resolution

The handset features a

  • 6.78-Inches curved OLED Display
  • A 1200 x 3000-pixel resolution
  • 120 Hz refresh rate
  • 1000 nit of brightness

According to an unnamed source, Huawei plans to unveil its new flagship smartphone, the Mate 20 series, in China on December 26. It will come with the company’s own Kirin 980 chipset.

It’s rumored to be the world’s first IMAX-enhanced tablet, and it should offer 33W fast charging and come in blue and orange.
