The Goat Simulator 3 ad featured some troll-like moments from the GTA 6 leak that happened in the same year, which was similar to many of the funny elements present in the game.

GTA’s DMCA Notice

It didn’t take much time for GTA publisher Take-Two to send out a DMCA warning to remove the video.

The ad, which is currently not available, included a funny description of an NPC named Shaun. He mentioned that his job consists of strolling in circles, picking stuff up, and sitting on a park bench.

GTA 6 Clip

At the end of the commercial, Shaun mentions that you can find some “leaked footage from a couple of months ago” where he appears, referring to the GTA 6 clip.

Goat Simulator Developers Response

The response of the Goat Simulator devs to the original tweet with the iconic “I’m in danger” GIF from The Simpsons implies that they were aware of potential consequences.

It’s yet to be seen if Take-Two will take more legal action, aside from the DMCA notice issued.

Goat Simulator 3, the not-so-accurately named follow-up to the original Goat Simulator, was released in November and received mixed reviews.

The game features Tony Hawk Pro Skater-inspired combos and a substantial level of creativity.
