Apart from the Trading Post, Patch 10.0.5 in World of Warcraft also introduces the Dragonflight UI with more customization options.

Dragonflight brought a fresh user interface to World of Warcraft, and the level of customization for this system will be expanded in the upcoming Patch 10.0.5.

Despite World of Warcraft having supported the use of add-ons for most of its lifespan, Blizzard Entertainment determined that a UI refresh was necessary.

Beneficial Change in Dragon Flight

According to numerous fans, the most beneficial change from the Dragonflight rework was being able to view all inventory bags as a single window. This feature was previously only accessible through certain add-ons like Bagnon but is now built into the game.

The update improved the visuals of the UI from years past, adding an Edit Mode for players to customize their World of Warcraft gaming experience.

The community welcomed the Edit Mode, but many were disappointed that it didn’t provide the same customization options as add-ons like Bartender.

Evidently responding to the community’s requests, Blizzard Entertainment is now introducing greater customization options in Edit Mode with Patch 10.0.5.

Players now have the ability to edit their experience and reputation levels, as well as their micro menu, durability paper doll, and inventory bags.

Having an optimized user interface is beneficial for raiding bosses in World of Warcraft, and although Edit Mode does not offer as many options as Bartender does, it still is a step forward.

New Edit Mode in Patch 10.0.5

In particular, with the new Edit Mode introduced in Patch 10.0.5, players are still unable to move the dungeon finder icon or resize the experience and reputation bars.

Fortunately, Blizzard has revealed that the UI will receive more attention from the developers during Dragonflight, which suggests that these current issues will soon be resolved.

Extensive Roadmap

Thanks to the extensive roadmap announced for World of Warcraft in 2023, Blizzard Entertainment is given plenty of chances to further enrich the new UI.

Echo has defeated Raszageth in Mythic Vault of the Incarnates, thus concluding the first race to World First in Dragonflight and paving the way for a brutal Mythic season within this expansion.

Trading Post Features

Patch 10.0.5 will primarily focus on introducing the Trading Post feature in World of Warcraft, but players don’t have to wait long for new content.

Following their Spring 2023 patch, players will embark on a journey to the Forbidden Reach and will also receive Orc and Human Heritage Armor sets.

Dragonflight, a game from World of Warcraft is now out for PCs.
