Design and Features

Dimensions

Measuring 1.4 by 2.6 by 1.4 inches (HWD), the Defiant Plug is very similar to the Wyze Plug (1.5 by 2.7 by 1.2 inches) and will not block off the second outlet in a two-outlet wall outlet due to its small size.

Color

It’s white with a single three-prong outlet on its front and a three-prong plug on the back.

LED Indicator

There is a power button and an LED indicator on the right. When Wi-Fi is not connected, the LED will blink orange and green, glow solid green when it’s plugged in, and turn solid red when Wi-Fi is disconnected.

Output and Internal Rating

This plug is to be used indoors and has an output rating of 15 amps.

It has an internal 2.4GHz Wi-Fi radio which allows you to control it using the Hub space app, in addition to Alexa and Google voice commands.

Plug

Although it is compatible with Alexa and Google routines, it does not have support for Apple HomeKit or IFTTT applets which would enable the appliance to interact with third-party intelligent devices.

You can use the plug with groups in the Hub space app to switch all of the devices in the group on and off at once, but you are unable to create triggers for it to interact with other Hub space devices.
