Pokemon is one of the few franchises to withstand the test of time. It has survived for many decades and still continues to charm fans and catch the imaginations of young and old alike.

Although Pokemon has many different forms and iterations, the most famous and successful format is the Pokemon games.

    Quick Summary

In this post, we will go over some of the best Pokemon games released by Nintendo.

So, without further ado, let’s get started.

Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! And Let’s Go Eevee!

These two games are beautiful recreations of the classic Pokemon games on Switch. We think Nintendo did an excellent job updating the game to make it more accessible and user-friendly for a modern audience.

While playing the game, we found the motion control mechanics to be fun and easy to use. However, we did feel they were a bit flawed in some instances where we were forced to shift from one play style to another.

Apart from this, the game does an amazing job of balancing between easy levels for new gamers and offering just enough post-game challenges and competitive elements to satisfy the veterans.

Since these two titles have something for everyone, we suggest you definitely give it a try if you own a Nintendo Switch.

    Pokemon Sun and Moon

If you’ve been a Pokeman fan from the start, this is a game you must include in your Nintendo 3DS gallery.

Pokemon Sun and Moon has some of the best games that we’ve ever played. The game was stunning from start to finish, complete with side quests and Poke Pelago.

What we loved about the game is how they carefully incorporated new mechanics into the game without ruining things for the hardcore Pokemon enthusiasts.

It has amazing content that is a blend of both new and old Pokemon games which tells a story in a way we’ve never experienced before.

    Pokemon Go

If you don’t own a Switch, you can also play Pokemon on your mobile. Pokemon Go is not only a great game but also an entertaining experience.

It was created when the Pokemon Company joined hands with Niantic, an augmented reality game developer. What started with seeking and catching Pokemon has become quite an expansive and robust mobile game today.

In the last few years, they have added various new updates. Now you can battle Team Rocket, catch new Pokemons, take part in special events, and more.

    Conclusion

Besides these three titles, Nintendo and Game Freak have released hundreds of other Pokemon alongside the release of new consoles.

However, each game differs from the next with new Pokemons, places, and features. Furthermore, Nintendo has also released a variety of spin-offs, such as the mystery dungeon games.

This shows that the 26-year-old Pokemon franchise is still just as popular among gamers and it isn’t showing any signs of slowing down soon.
